New York State of Wine - Episode Two: Heron Hill

New York State of Wine - Episode Two: Heron Hill

Eric Frarey of Heron Hill Winery, joined by winemaker Jordan Harris will be tasting the 2017 Heron Hill Reserve Pinot Noir and joining us from the Finger Lakes.

This would be a great tasting for those interested in Sustainable and Eco-Friendly winemaking practices "prints in the vineyards, not tire tracks" - Heron Hill's vineyards are sustainably farmed with nature-friendly viticulture practices. The 2017 Reserve Pinot Noir is a blend of Pinot Noir grapes from two different vineyard sites on Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes and bottled with solar energy! It is light bodied in structure with mineral and warm spice aromas. Cherry and plum fruit dominate the palate with round tannins. Classic varietal from an upcoming region.
