If you're into buttery and rich Chardonnays, don't buy this wine. Seriously. This savoury and salty wine has such posture that it almost needs a couple few years in the cellar to chill out.
Freedom Hill was planted in 1981 by Dan and Helen Dusschee (St Innocent) on silty clay-loam over sandstone and boy oh boy, what a thrill! I am just so very captivated by wines like this....it's restrained power gives me goosebumps. Yummo.
