Weingut Müller Catoir 'MC' Trocken Riesling
On the eastern slopes of the Haardt mountains is a beautiful 18th century castle- Haardt castle, or Villa Clemm (google it, it looks like German Hogwarts). It’s home to the family run winery, Müller-Catoir, who have been making wine for 9 generations since 1744. Dedicated to making their wines in the spirit of tradition and terroir, every vineyard is farmed organically, and had harvested to preserve quality. When you taste this wine, you’ll be shocked that this is considered their entry-level Riesling, because she is fresh as heck, mineral, and tastes like actual sunshine. This wine will only get better in the cellar, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this lil’ beauty now.
